TRAFFIC AND DRUNK DRIVING

In New Jersey, the drunk driving laws are very strict and could have a serious impact on your life.  Penalties include mandatory fines and penalties, suspension of driver's license, and even the possibility of incarceration.  Contrary to popular belief, New Jersey does not allow so called "work licenses" that permit you to drive for employment purposes only. Once the court suspends your license, you cannot drive for any reason.  If you are caught driving while suspended for drunk driving, there is is mandatory jail sentence.  The penalties are severe.  Should you injure someone in an accident, you will be charged with a felony that will stay on your record for life and could result in incarceration. In addition, should you kill someone in an accident while drunk driving, there is a mandatory five to ten year state prison sentence, and you must serve 85% of the term before you are eligible for parole.  Needless to say, drunk driving is a very serious offense.

I have extensive experience in analyzing DWI cases and will provide you with the best defense possible.  Don't go to court alone and trust the prosecutor or police to properly advise you.  You need a trained professional on your side.  I have represented countless numbers of defendants for drunk driving and drunk driving related offenses. In addition to drunk driving, here is a short list of other traffic offenses in which I provide representation:

  • Driving while suspended
  • Reckless driving
  • Leaving the scene of an accident
  • CDS in a motor vehicle
  • Careless driving
  • Speeding
  • Failure to maintain lane
  • Tailgating
